The School employs a fully qualified Nurse who is available on site from 7.45am until 4.45pm, Monday to Friday.

Medical and First-aid Care

In the event of a student requiring medical attention, they will go to the Nurse at the medical room on site. This is equipped to deal with First Aid and basic emergency treatment.

The school is within :
•  5 minutes of two doctors’ clinics
•  30 minutes drive of several excellent private hospitals

Outside of school hours, the School Nurse is based at the Boarding houses where she is available on call when required. Boarders needing medical attention would be taken to either of the two local doctor’s clinics.

In addition, it is our policy to regularly train its staff (both teaching and non-teaching) in First Aid (the Red Crescent Society).
