Do Something Society (DSS)

The Do Something Society, run by students as part of their IBDP CAS programme  organises a range of activities  throughout the school year in liaison with our other student leadership bodies.

Responsibilities include initiating and collaboratively planning a range of awareness raising, fund raising and other activities involving the Uplands community across secondary and primary school. As CAS students, a key element of their work is to develop leadership skills and to reflect on their experiences in order to understand the skills and learnings gained. Crystal Family Home, a group home for disadvantaged children, is the beneficiary of Secondary DSS efforts, the Children’s Protection Society of Penang the beneficiary of the Primary School efforts.
