FOBISIA is a regional Federation of the leading British international schools in Asia. As an organisation it unashamedly applies stringent entry standards to all schools who apply for membership and upholds these same standards for all members through a review cycle that requires an ongoing commitment to excellence and inspection or accreditation by recognised external agencies. International Baccalaureate® (IB)

Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation offering four highly respected programmes of international education that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. Schools must be authorized, by the IB organization, to offer any of the programmes.

The IB has a hard-earned reputation for high standards of teaching, pedagogical leadership and student achievement. We work with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.


Pearson Education Limited (Pearson) is the UK’s largest awarding organisation, offering academic and vocational qualifications and training to schools, colleges, employers and other places of learning in the UK and internationally.

Our academic qualifications include Edexcel GCSE, Edexcel GCE (A level) and Edexcel International GCSE (The Edexcel Certificate for UK state schools).

Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA)

The Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) is the United Kingdom Association serving and representing member boarding schools, training staff and promoting boarding education in both independent and state boarding schools.

Membership of the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) entitles schools to a wide range of support and promotion initiatives: This is the most comprehensive and interactive UK website devoted to Boarding. Coupled with its high prominence on the world wide search engines, member schools are easily found by interested parents and pupils seeking a boarding school.

The Association of International Malaysian Schools (AIMS)

AIMS is a non-profit making membership organisation, dedicated to the advancement of international education in Malaysia, via the provision of services to its member schools.

The objectives of the Association are:

To promote understanding between international school communities and the people of the host country, Malaysia.

To promote further international cooperation by encouraging cultural, academic and sporting links between schools.

To provide a forum for international schools in Malaysia to meet and discuss matters of mutual interest to the educational needs of students.

To provide a channel of communication for discussing and/or presenting matters to the Ministry of Education and/or State Education Offices.

To act as a consultative body contributing to the improvement of educational standards in Malaysia.

PASCH Network

PASCH stands for the “Schools: Partners for the Future”. It connects more than 1,700 schools where German has a particularly high priority worldwide.

PASCH is an initiative of the Foreign Office in cooperation with the Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA), the Goethe-Institut (GI), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Educational Exchange Service (PAD) of the Standing Conference.

The Alliances Françaises Network

The Alliance Française was created in 1883 in Paris under the aegis of Paul Cambon and Pierre Foncin, around personalities such as Jules Verne, Louis Pasteur, Ferdinand de Lesseps, Armand Colin and Ernest Renan.

Today, it is the leading cultural network worldwide, with 1,040 establishments in 136 countries on all five continents. Each year, 450,000 people, of all ages, attend Alliances Françaises to learn French and more than 6 million people participate in their cultural activities.

The Goethe-Institut

The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany with a global reach. We promote knowledge of the German language abroad and foster international cultural cooperation. We convey a comprehensive picture of Germany by providing information on Germany’s cultural, social and political life.

Through our network of Goethe-Institutes, Goethe Centres, cultural societies and reading rooms, alongside our examination and language learning centres, we perform the principal tasks of cultural and educational policy abroad. We work in partnership with public and private cultural bodies, the German federal states and municipalities, and the corporate sector.
